Kirill Burlov began his artistic journey in the UK performing as a soloist with Northern Ballet Theatre, Michael Clark Dance Company and The Cathy Marston Project. In his time at Rambert between 2007 and 2014, he excelled both as a dancer and as a choreographer.
Kirill has collaborated and produced work with artists such as Khadijah von Zonenburg, Abigail Reynolds, Alkamie, Andrejs Zagars, Annelie Nederberg, Charlotte Ginsborg and Kristaps Petersons. Having worked with a diverse range of creative minds, Kirill truly believes that creative collaboration with other artists and art forms is essential for an artist’s professional growth, and for the development of new ideas and projects.
He is currently producing work for the Cheltenham, Lichfield and Wilderness Festivals in the UK, as well as for dance and art festivals and performances in Latvia. At the moment Kirill is also organising and directing the Baltic Art Form Festival.
